SSIC led Swiss entrepreneurs to a successful business trip to China

Recently, Swiss-Sino Innovation Center (SSIC) and Aiken International jointly organized a visit for entrepreneurs from Crypto Valley Switzerland, specializing in blockchain and information technology industries, to travel to five cities in China, namely Beijing, Jinan, Nanjing, Ningbo, and Shenzhen, for communication and exploration purposes.

 

In Beijing, the SSIC delegates participated in the Salon with theme of 2023 Welcome to Beijing "Two Zones" Construction on June 26. At the salon, the industrial advantages of Beijing's "Two Zones" and Haidian District were presented to the swiss delegation and followed by extensive discussion and communication with representatives from Baidu, Institute of Software Chinese Academy of Sciences, YeePay, BSN Development Alliance, Red Date Technology, Sansec, Yuan Chain Network, and Rooch. Swiss delegates also explored the cutting-edge technologies in fields such as artificial intelligence and engaged in extensive exchanges regarding their respective development philosophies and technological products, expressing a shared vision of win-win cooperation between Chinese and Swiss enterprises.

 

 

On June 27, the delegation visited the Beijing Daxing Economic Development Zone, visited the International Science and Technology Innovation Center, followed by a discussion and exchange session. Mr. Tibor Mueller, the representative of Crypto Valley enterprises from Switzerland, expressed that China's rapid technological development provides immense opportunities. He convinced that Crypto Valley is willing to leverage its advantages and work together with Chinese digital economy enterprises to forge a new blueprint for development. Beijing International Cooperation Industrial Park, Crypto Valley Partners AG, and Beijing Aiken Zhonghe International Technology Co. signed a strategic agreement to further promote Sino-Swiss international exchanges, cooperation in the digital economy industry, and the establishment of Crypto Valley incubators to reach new heights.

 

 

In Jinan, the Swiss delegation participated in the exchange symposium, engaging in discussions and exchanges with the leaders from the Jinan Starting Area on 28. Swiss-Sino Innovation Center signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Jinan Development Zone Group. Beijing Aiken Zhonghe International Technology Co., Ltd., also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shandong Yellow River Digital Economy Industrial Park, further promoting international exchanges and industrial cooperation between China and Switzerland.

 

 

The Swiss delegation also proceeded to a roadshow of seven projects, namely CVP, CREAL, Ripple, SAFLE, FYOOZ, Bit Jade Capital, and ERM, for over 40 representatives from local renowned private equity funds, including Dazhong Venture Capital, Tongke Shenghua Equity Investment Fund, Huayue Equity Investment Fund, and Jifu Hi-Tech Equity Investment. They engaged in extensive discussions with investment institutions on topics such as cross-border cooperation opportunities, investment hotspots, and prospects.

 

 

On June 30, the Swiss delegation visited Nanjing, where they engaged in discussions and exchanges with Nanjing Blockchain Association. The representatives of Nanjing Blockchain Association including White Matrix Technology, Magic Window Blockchain Technology, Wu Suxian Metaverse Art Studio, and China Iridium Digital Technology attended the meeting. Companies from both countries shared their core business, product advantages, market promotion, and strategic layouts, and agreed to maintain ongoing communication regarding cooperation in overseas markets.

 

 

Moreover, the Nanjing Investment Promotion Center and the Jianye High-tech Zone Management Committee organized an exchange conference for the Swiss delegation. The leaders of the committee presented the development of Nanjing's blockchain industry, market standards, talent development programs, and ongoing projects. 

 

On July 2, the Swiss delegation was invited to participate in the 2023 Data Elements and Digital Industry Ecological Innovation Conference in Ningbo. The conference brought together domestic and international key participants in the digital industry. Representing Swiss entrepreneurs, Mr. Tibor Mueller, Managing Partner of Crypto Valley Partners, and Mr. Dietmar Dahmen, Co-founder of FYOOZ, delivered fascinating speeches on the topics of "Building the World's Largest Blockchain Ecosystem" and "Digital Trust," respectively.

 

 

On July 3, the delegation also visited the Yongshuiqiao Science and Technology Innovation Center and the Ningbo Ali Center. They engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with the Ningbo Industrial Internet Research Institute, Lanzhuo Industrial Internet Information Technology Co., and Alibaba Cloud, expressing their expectations to further explore industrial localization and technological cooperation.

 

In Shenzhen, the Swiss delegation visited Huawei, where they toured the Digital Technology Exhibition Hall and held a discussion meeting with Huawei's External Investment Department. Swiss entrepreneurs expressed their investment and localization needs in China and learned that Huawei is continuously enriching its innovation projects and talent pool both in China and overseas. To connect capital and technology from both domestic and international sources, Huawei has already established a sizable network of partners and is welcoming enterprises from the Swiss Crypto Valley to become its partner.

 

 

 

Also, the Swiss delegation visited the Shenzhen Finance Chamber of Commerce and held a discussion meeting. Tibor Mueller emphasized that China is more open than one might imagine, and Shenzhen provides a free and business-friendly environment. With over 8,000 members, the Shenzhen Finance Association can undoubtedly provide strong support for Swiss companies as they enter the Chinese market. During the meeting, the Shenzhen Finance Chamber of Commerce signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Swiss-Sino Innovation Center, and the Sino-Swiss International Financial Innovation Center was officially unveiled.

 

 

 

On July 5th, Mr Tibor Mueller attended the 2023 Global Digital Economy Conference as a keynote speaker in the specialized forum on the Innovation and Development of the Industrial Internet. He delivered a speech titled " CBDC, Fintech and the Provision of digital financial services," where he shared insights into the application of encryption technology in a wide range of digital payment systems. He also discussed the challenges in establishing a digital financial services ecosystem and provided professional advice from the perspective of regulatory approaches.
