Shanghai SIMIC InnoSpring Visited the Swiss-Sino Innovation Center and Signed Multiple Cooperation Agreements

On March 22, a delegation led by Mr. Ren Jia, Chairman and General Manager of Shanghai SIMIC InnoSpring Co., Ltd. visited the SSIC in Zurich. The two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on technology exchange, market expansion, bilateral incubation, and sharing of experimental platforms. Both sides finally reached a number of cooperation intentions.

Both sides agreed to leverage their respective advantages to establish an overseas workstation and offshore incubation base for Shanghai at the SSIC, while setting up a SSIC Shanghai incubation Hub at Shanghai SIMIC InnoSpring. They hope that through cooperation, a synergy effect can be generated to deepen Sino-Swiss innovation cooperation. The two sides also had in-depth discussions on specific matters such as the operation mode of the workstation, supporting services, bilateral investment funds, training program and study tours, and reached an intention for comprehensive cooperation.
The two sides will soon launch the first innovation training project, leveraging the shared innovation resources to contribute to promoting Sino-Swiss cooperation intermd of innovation and technology transformation, and contributing to the China's high-quality economic development.
Shanghai SIMIC InnoSpring is a technology incubation platform initiated by the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to adapt to the rapidly increasing demand for technology transfer. It is operated by Shanghai Xinwei Electronic Co., Ltd. As a national-level double-creation demonstration base and a specialized crowdsourcing space for sensors, Shanghai SIMIC InnoSpring is an accelerator platform for technology companies focusing on the Internet of Things and advanced sensor industries. Since its establishment, it has highly emphasized the sorting and building of a specialized industrial chain innovation mechanism. Through the integration of industrial chains and the organic integration of resources such as technology and capital, a complete collaborative innovation incubation system for the Internet of Things industry chain has gradually been formed.
Swiss-Sino Innovation Center was established in Zurich in 2017 under the background of the establishment of "Sino-Swiss Innovative Strategic Partnership" and under the initiative and guidance of the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland. SSIC aims to organically combine technology industries between China and Switzerland, with innovative enterprises in Switzerland as its main body, capitals from China and Chinese market as its link, and the service from SSIC as its infrastructure. It has become an important platform institution based in Switzerland, radiating to Europe, and deploying in both China and Switzerland.
