Shenzhen Delegation Visits SSIC, Forging New Collaboration in Elderly Care Industry

ZURICH, SWITZERLAND — June 12 — A delegation led by Mr. Huang Zhe, Director of Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau, visited the Swiss-Sino Innovation Center (SSIC) on Thursday morning. The two sides held in-depth discussions on health technology, tech-enabled elderly care services, and senior community management, reaching key cooperative agreements.

The Shenzhen delegation included representatives from the Shenzhen Retired Officials Bureau , Bao’an District Civil Affairs Bureau, Shenzhen Financial Affairs Office, Shenzhen SHUM YIP SHAHE Group, and Shenzhen Association of Trade in Services. Mr. Xie Xiaobiao, President of the Association, chaired the opening session, introducing delegation members and expressing gratitude for SSIC’s arrangements.
Director Huang Zhe outlined the visit’s objectives, emphasizing Shenzhen’s commitment to integrating international expertise into its smart elderly care ecosystem.
Feng Jianhua, Director of SSIC, detailed the SSIC’s role and showcased Switzerland’s globally renowned elderly care system, sharing operational models, industry strengths, and best practices to support Shenzhen’s development.

Future collaboration dominated the exchange. Mr. Ni, General Manager of Shum Yip Group, promoted the "Shenzhen International Intelligent Elderly Care Industry Expo" (September 2024) and formally invited SSIC and its corporate partners to showcase cutting-edge products and services.

The invited Swiss companies actively responded, presenting innovations in elderly healthcare technology, medical aesthetics, artificial intelligence city systems, and novel bio-detection solutions, sparking vibrant discussions. Both sides agreed to advance practical cooperation, leveraging Switzerland’s expertise and Shenzhen’s innovation capacity to address aging challenges.
