Overview

The year 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Swiss-Sino innovative strategic partnership and also the first year of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, presenting broad opportunities for innovative cooperation between the two countries.

Swiss-Sino Innovation Center (SSIC), together with M-Hub Nexus launches its 6th Innovation Trip China to empower Swiss high-growth startups with:

 

- Market Intelligence: First-hand insights into China’s dynamic innovation ecosystem.

- Fundraising Opportunities: Direct engagement with Chinese investors.

- Strategic Partnerships: Access to leading corporates and policymakers.

- Policy Support: Guidance on subsidies and incentives for foreign startu.ps in China.

 

This 10-day program connects selected Swiss startups with financial institutions, corporations, innovators, and government officials across four key cities, fostering cross-border collaboration and market entry.

Cost & Sponsorship

Thanks to sponsors and partners, all in-trip travel, accommodation, and most meals are fully covered by SSIC.

 

Important Note: 

- Pre-trip and post-trip accommodation not included; participants arrange and cover extra nights at their own cost.

- Official trip period: 13–25 September 2026.

- Any personal itinerary changes must be approved in advance; extra costs are self-funded.

 

Business Culture

- Official government and corporate meetings follow Chinese business protocols.

- First-time visitors may experience different meeting styles compared to Europe.

Confidentiality

- SSIC and M-Hub Nexus do not sign NDAs with local partners.

- Participants are responsible for protecting sensitive data and intellectual property.
