Brief Introduction

The Innovation Nanshan 2023 Entrepreneurs Star Contest is guided by the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, organised by the Shenzhen Nanshan District People's Government and the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, hosted by the Shenzhen Nanshan District Science and Technology Innovation Bureau  and executed by the Shenzhen Nanshan District Innovation Development Promotion Centre. It is a large scale model event and a martial arts event in the science and technology sector based in Nanshan, facing the whole country and radiating globally. In order to give full play to the role of recruiting talents and attracting wisdom for the 7th International Competition of the Shenzhen Venture Competition, expand the overseas influence of the "Entrepreneurs Star" Contest, and seize the good opportunity of expanding the opening up to the outside world in the post-epidemic era, Nanshan District hosted the overseas sub-contests in Zurich, Switzerland and Singapore, and made every effort to attract overseas high-quality innovation teams and entrepreneurial projects to develop in Nanshan.

The 7th International Competition has been officially launched in April 2023, setting up 14 overseas sub-contests in 13 countries: Sydney, Australia; Toronto, Canada; Tel Aviv, Israel; Tokyo, Japan; Eindhoven, Netherlands; Madrid, Spain; London, UK; Silicon Valley, USA; Paris, France; Munich, Germany; Zurich, Switzerland; Singapore; Stockholm, Sweden; Boston, USA, with a total prize money of 9.71 million yuan The total prize money will be $9.71 million, of which a single contestant will have the opportunity to win a total of up to $1.75 million in prize money plus landing support. At the same time, the competition will also provide industrial support, science and technology finance, project incubation and other support for high-quality entrepreneurial projects, covering a full range of project recruitment, overseas coaching, offshore pre-incubation, online cloud incubation, online matchmaking, visits to Shenzhen, local industry matchmaking, mentor and expert matchmaking, venture capital matchmaking, support policy matchmaking, industrial park matchmaking and other aspects, to provide full tracking and landing services for the participants.
