He serves as an overseas board member of the Western Returned Scholars Association (WRSA), overseas vice president of Beijing Association of Overseas-Chinese Hi-tech Entrepreneurs (BAOHE), overseas committee member of All-China Federation of Returned Overseas, overseas committee member of the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Jiangsu Province and Beijing Xicheng District as well, and overseas talent advisor for several of China’s domestic governments.

    Paul Eduard Schenker-Bodmer is a major serial investor based in Switzerland. He is fully committed to support the development of science and health-care research. The Swiss businessman has a large expertise in the field of biotechnology, especially in diagnostics-related companies. His most relevant achievement has been successfully co-founding and investing in Prionics Corporation (Switzerland) in 1996. It was an animal health diagnostics company completely acquired by multinational firm Thermo Fisher Scientific to become its subsidiary in 2014. Later on, in 2016, Paul Schenker invested in Imedos Corp, a company currently based in Germany and pioneering the Retinal Microvessel Analysis. More recently, in 2017, he has founded, Schenker Trading (China), committed to offer advanced diagnostic tools for the early detection of various diseases. He has also a great entrepreneurship and investing experience on other fields like IT and real-estate. With his background and expert vision he will help the scientific committee of the Deep Breath Initiative (DBI) evaluating the feasibility of the submitted projects.

He served as the president of Association of Chinese Students and Scholars in Zurich (ACSSZ) for two years. He holds a Master degree of Mathematical Finance from Columbia University in the US, a bachelor degree of Economics from Peking University and a bachelor degree of Mathematics from Beijing Normal University in China.

    Dr. Lisha ZHA received her Ph.D. in Braunschweig University of Technology in Germany in 2015, focusing on immunology. Since 2017, she has been a researcher at Inselspital of the University of Bern, Switzerland. She is also an adjunct professor at Zhengzhou University. In addition to her extensive basic research experience, her research results were published in several international high-level SCI journals as the first author. Dr. Lisha ZHA is also the main founder of Affinibody LifeScience in Switzerland. She was the founder of the Swiss Double Summit Forum (DUPEAK). She was interviewed by SwissInfo and China's official media Xinhua News as well as CCTV News. In addition, Dr. Lisha ZHA also led three overseas doctors to return to China and start a business. The rich industry experience gives Dr. Zha an unique investment vision in the bio-industry.

    Doctor of engineering, master of chemistry. Xun Wei has worked in three Swiss research institutions (PSI, EMPA and ETH Zurich) with a focus on renewable energy. She has excellent communication skills and a keen understanding of cultural differences. Since 2010, she adjusted her career path towards cross-cultural communication and management. Currently she is the director of operations at Xinrui Business School Switzerland in close cooperation with the University of Zurich. She is a board member of the Chinese Association of Science & Technology in Switzerland (since 2012) and the Swiss-Chinese Association (since 2016).

    Ms. Jiayun Shen is a Ph.D. candidate at the Swiss Federal Institute for Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). Her research focuses on how innovation actors coordinate for a smart metropolis. Parallel to her research, she works part-time in the team of Open Innovation and Corporate Venturing at Swiss Post Group, a state-owned enterprise in Switzerland. She is responsible for academic partnership management, business cooperation and start-up screening in Asia, and supports the “Smart City” strategy as well as project coordination in the corporation. Before her Ph.D., she studied building technology at Tongji University as a bachelor and obtained her Master degree in Energy-efficient and sustainable building at the Technical University of Munich.

    The former president of Association of Chinese Students and Scholars in Zurich, a former consultant of World Intellectual Property Organization. He is a doctoral student in ETH Zurich, focusing on Intellectual Property Managment and Law & Economics. His academic background are Mathematics and Applied Mathematics(Bachelor) and Management Science and Engineering (Master). During his master, Yuting Deng passed the China BAR examination. In last two years, he presided over and participated in more than ten research projects at the national and provincial levels.
