Representatives of ten high-tech innovation and entrepreneurship enterprises from Switzerland and Europe invited by SSIC came to Ningbo, the second stop of this China trip, on September 18,.
Ten start-ups attended the "promotion meeting on entrepreneurship and innovation policy environment for talents studying abroad" in Howard Johnson IFC Plaza Ningbo on the afternoon of September 19. At the promotion meeting, Ya'nan XU, deputy mayor of Ningbo municipal people's government, delivered a welcoming speech, expressing her enthusiasm for overseas talents to start their own business in Ningbo. Peixiang XU, deputy director of the overseas study service center of the Ministry of Education, delivered a speech and recommended Chunhui program. Rongcheng HUANG, deputy director of talent office of Ningbo municipal committee, recommended the entrepreneurship and innovation policy environment of Ningbo, and proposed to build a entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem to solve the hot and difficult problems of overseas talents returning to China for entrepreneurship and innovation, in order to strengthen the talents' sense of identity, integration and belonging to Ningbo, hope talents grow and develop together with Ningbo, and strive to realize the Chinese dream of the great renewal of the Chinese nation.
9.19 Attend the promotion meeting on entrepreneurship and innovation policy environment for talents studying abroad
On the morning of September 20, ten start-ups from Switzerland and Europe participated in Ningbo talent science and technology week, and held a talent project exhibition booth in the No.1 pavilion of Ningbo international convention and exhibition center. The booth for Swiss start-ups attracted a lot of attention from investors and related companies. Shanjie ZHENG , deputy secretary of Zhejiang provincial party committee and secretary of Ningbo municipal party committee also came to Ningbo international convention and exhibition center after the opening ceremony and inspected the talent technology week venue. Zheng said, "Ningbo will provide good conditions for talents to start their own business and innovate with intimate of service. Talents from all over the world are welcome to Ningbo."
9.20 At the exhibition booth of talent project in No. 1 pavilion of Ningbo international convention and exhibition center
On the afternoon of September.20, the Swiss team participated in the promotion of Swiss-Sino entrepreneurship and innovation project held in Ningbo Haishu Fortune Bond Hotel. First,two signing ceremonies were carried out, one is between SSIC and Haishu district, the other is between SSIC and 23Seed investment. Subsequently, the Swiss team conducted a roadshow in the recommendation meeting to look for the Chinese market and partners. In the perspective of "technological exchange, investment and development, and win-win cooperation", the event will help China introduce cutting-edge technologies (electronic information, intelligent creation, new energy, new materials, biomedicine and other fields) from Switzerland, and help Chinese science and technology enterprises to innovate and develop.
9.20 Road show in the promotion of Swiss-Sino entrepreneurship and innovation project
Yan JIN, vice minister of organization department and executive director of talent office of CPC committee, Bangjin WANG, member of standing committee and director of organization department of Yinzhou district committee, Yajun CHEN and other leaders and Swiss team of Yinzhou district committee visited the university of Nottingham Ningbo and held a symposium on September 21 . The conference aims to promote the connection between China and Switzerland in innovation and entrepreneurship, help Swiss high-tech start-up enterprises understand Ningbo policies, and connect with local markets, industrial parks, potential industrial partners and investment institutions.
Then the party committee, the district party committee and the Swiss team went to Yinzhou science and technology information incubator park, visit Swiss-Sino incubator, Ningbo South Intelligence & Creation Corridor headquarters. Director of SSIC Dr. Jianhua Feng, secretary general Dr. Ke Wu, deputy secretary general Dr. Jiayun Shen, representative of SSIC Ningbo office Yingnan Liu accompanied the whole process. During the visit, the municipal party committee and district committee leaders further showed the development planning and innovation and entrepreneurship platform of Ningbo, and expressed warm welcome the talents from Switzerland and Europe to Ningbo to innovation and entrepreneurship.
9.21 Visit Ningbo South Intelligence & Creation Corridor Headquarters
Through this exchange activity, the representatives of Swiss and European innovation and entrepreneurship deepened their understanding of Ningbo's future development plan, innovation and entrepreneurship environment and relevant policies, which laid a solid foundation for long-term cooperation and even landing in China. We hope to take this exchange as an opportunity to open a new chapter of in-depth cooperation between China and Switzerland. We look forward to more Swiss or European innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises visiting China and landing in China in the future. The SSIC will further coordinate and cooperate constructively with the Chinese government in terms of talent introduction, scientific and technological projects and investment attraction, so as to help it take root and grow stronger in both countries.
