On November 14, 2019, more than 20 experts from pharmaceutical, biothech, medtech and medical product trading industries attended the seminar “Clinical Trial Strategy in China” in Biopôle Lausanne, which was jointly organized by the Swiss-Sino Innovation Center (SSIC), TigerMed Consulting, Switzerland Innovation and Biopôle Lausanne.

Mr. Nahas, CEO of Biopôle Lausanne, welcomed the guests and introduced the main activities of Biopôle. Ms. Shen, Deputy Secretary-General of SSIC, introduced the core functions of SSIC as the platform of the innovative strategic cooperation in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship between the two countries. Then two experts from TigerMed, Mr. Peng and Dr. Qu, shared their expertise in organizing clinical trials and market authorization of drugs and medical devices in the Chinese market.

During the presentations, the audience asked a large number of questions according to their own business demands, especially the differences between the clinical trial policies in China and those in the EU. This seminar is a unique chance for the audience to obtain the direct and authentic consulting for their business plans. The reception after the presentations provided an opportunity for further communication and networking.

Since its foundation at the end of 2017, SSIC has been committed to promoting high-tech and business cooperation between the two countries, which in turn will attract more Swiss companies and projects to enter China. This event launched a series of seminars under the subject “Enter China”. In the future we will bring more exciting events for our members.
